A heated pool and sauna, ready beyond summer

The private 27 m² outdoor pool is heated, so the swimming season runs from spring through autumn, well past the summer weeks most Istrian villas are limited to. It is ready in April when the sea is still around 15°C, and again deep into October. Start the day with a swim and coffee on the terrace, set the adjustable slats for sun or shade, and end a cool evening in the sauna. This is the reason guests book Villa Leda in spring and autumn, when the roads are quiet and Istria is at its most relaxed.

Built for two couples, or a small family

The layout is made for four people who want their own space. Each of the two bedrooms has a large double bed and its own en-suite bathroom, with a separate guest toilet, so two couples travelling together never share a bathroom or a wall. Everything is on one level, the garden is enclosed and off the road, and a cot and high chair are available for families with small children. With only four guests the house never feels crowded, and the full kitchen and open living area give you a place to gather between private mornings and quiet nights.

A calm base for all of Istria

From the centre of the peninsula you reach almost everything within an hour, without being tied to one stretch of coast. Pazin is ten minutes away, the coast and Motovun about half an hour. In a single day you can hunt truffles in the Motovun forest, taste Malvazija at a family winery, ride the gravel roads straight from the gate, and still be back for an evening swim. The setting stays quiet and the night sky stays dark, so busy days end in complete privacy, and bicycles are ready at the villa whenever you want them.
